Chos 0.84 is not being actively maintained anymore although random
patches like this may be released. It is so bad and kludged code
that I don't want to have anything to do with it :-)
0.9-beta is the latest version but it is not to be considered stable
yet. Nothing has been done for it for over half a year either (I was
doing my military service :-( but I might do something for it some day.
If you are willing to risk it, I'd like to know if it works on your
system or why it doesn't.

Here are some of the patches included:

- Windoze NT INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE fix by Sven Anders.
(I think some one else told me what to fix last summer or so but
I never got to using it with 0.84.)

- Marcel Ritter submitted a patch to fix handling of two IDE
interfaces. (I did my own fixes to support all four of them
and it might not work anymore... :-)

- hd/fd swapping kludge.
(Already included in 0.84 but moved to the main source tree).

This is a quick fix to the buggy swaphd feature (I haven't tried this
or the swaphd/fd feature, though. But I was told this fix works.)
I just took the swapping code from an old version of lilo unmodified.
You must explicitly set the loader for the image for which you want the
drives to swapped for to chos.loader-bsect-swaphd/fd to swap hda/hdb and fd0/fd1,
respectively. The swaphd/fd options will have no effect on these loaders.
